SaaS Monthly Maintenance keeps a launched web application under regular technical care: uptime and error monitoring, backup checks, security patches and dependency updates, bug fixes, Stripe and API checks, controlled releases and a monthly report. Each plan has a defined scope — covered apps, support hours, response targets and a monthly engineering allowance — agreed after an onboarding review. You keep full ownership of your code, accounts and infrastructure.
What a maintenance plan can include
Uptime and error monitoring:Configured uptime and error monitoring, alert review and incident triage, so problems are caught before customers report them.
Backups and restore tests:Backup-job checks and, when included in your plan, scheduled restore tests — a backup you've never restored is only a hope.
Dependency updates and security patches:Selected framework, library and security updates, tested before release so updates don't break production.
Bug fixes:Investigation and correction of bugs within your monthly engineering allowance.
Payment, job and integration checks:Regular checks on Stripe webhooks, background jobs and the API integrations your business depends on.
Controlled releases:Deployment of accepted changes with release documentation, instead of ad-hoc pushes to production.
Monthly report:Work completed, incidents, time used, outstanding risks and recommended next actions — every month, in plain language.
What we agree before you subscribe
Coverage:Which applications and environments are covered, named contacts and escalation routes.
Support hours and response targets:Support hours and timezone, severity definitions and response targets for each severity.
Engineering allowance:Monthly engineering hours, and whether unused time expires or carries over.
Included tasks:Which maintenance tasks are included and how work beyond the allowance is handled and approved.
Backups and approvals:Backup responsibilities, restore tests and which changes need your approval before release.
Commercial terms:Monthly fee, billing date, minimum term if any, and cancellation arrangements.
Onboarding review: We review your architecture, deployment process, access arrangements and known technical debt. Critical existing problems may need a separate repair engagement first.
Agree the plan: We agree what is monitored, who receives alerts, what counts as an incident, how changes are approved and the monthly fee — all in writing before the subscription starts.
Set up monitoring and access: Monitoring, alerting and role-based access are configured. You keep ownership and administrative control of your code, accounts and infrastructure.
Monthly care cycle: Monitoring, patches, fixes and releases run within the agreed scope, followed by the monthly report and a short review call if you want one.
Important boundaries
Response time means when we acknowledge and begin triage — it is not a guaranteed resolution time. Round-the-clock support, major features, large migrations and incident work beyond the allowance need separate coverage or estimates. Hosting, software subscriptions and AI usage are billed separately unless the agreement includes them. If your app has serious problems today, start with AI App Repair & Production Launch. On cancellation, you receive current documentation, work status and confirmation that our access has been removed.

Frequently asked questions
What is included in SaaS maintenance?
A plan can include uptime and error monitoring with alert triage, backup checks and scheduled restore tests, dependency updates and security patches tested before release, bug fixes within a monthly engineering allowance, checks on Stripe webhooks, background jobs and API integrations, controlled releases, and a monthly report covering work done, incidents, time used and outstanding risks. The exact scope is agreed before you subscribe.
How much does monthly maintenance for a web app cost?
The monthly fee depends on the number of applications and environments covered, support hours and timezone, response targets and the monthly engineering allowance. We recommend a plan after a short onboarding review, and the fee, billing date, any minimum term and cancellation terms are agreed in writing.
What response times do you offer?
Response targets are set per severity level in your plan. Response time means when we acknowledge an incident and begin triage — it is not a guaranteed resolution time. Round-the-clock coverage is available only when it is explicitly part of the plan.
Can you maintain an app another developer or an AI tool built?
Yes, if it fits our supported stack and passes an onboarding review of the architecture, deployment process, access and known technical debt. If we find critical existing problems, we'll recommend fixing them first under a separate repair engagement so the monthly plan starts from a stable base.
Do unused maintenance hours roll over?
That's agreed per plan. Before the subscription starts we confirm the monthly engineering allowance, whether unused time expires or carries over, and how work beyond the allowance is approved and billed.
Who owns the code and accounts during maintenance?
You do. You retain ownership and administrative control of your code, accounts and infrastructure, and we're granted access by role. If the plan ends, the handover includes current documentation, work status and removal of our access.
Are hosting and third-party subscriptions included?
No, unless the agreement expressly includes them. Hosting, software subscriptions and AI usage costs are billed by the providers to you, which also keeps those accounts in your name.
Share your stack, user volume, current incidents and the support hours you need. We'll recommend an onboarding review and a monthly plan. Request a maintenance plan.
