Tired of patching an old PHP system? UnlockLive IT moves PHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter, Yii and WordPress applications to Next.js on the front end and Python FastAPI on the back end, with a fixed quote agreed before we start. Your URLs and Google rankings are kept, every record is moved and checked, and the new system goes live with zero downtime and a rollback ready.
We did the same for ourselves: in October 2026 we moved the unlocklive.com blog off WordPress to Next.js, reviewed all 91 posts and redirected every old URL, and it now runs in five languages.
Our promises
A fixed quote before we start:After the Migration Blueprint you get one fixed quote and timeline for your project. No hourly surprises.
Your Google rankings kept:Every old URL is mapped to its new page with permanent (301) redirects, and titles, descriptions and structured data move with it.
Zero-downtime switch:The new system runs side by side with the old one. We switch with a rollback ready, so your customers never see a maintenance page.
Every record moved and checked:Users, orders, content and files are migrated with scripts we rehearse first and verify count by count before the switch.
30 days of free fixes:Anything that does not work as agreed in the first 30 days after launch is fixed at no cost.
You own everything:Full source code, documentation and accounts in your name. No lock-in to us.
How we can work together
Free migration review
A 30-minute call: you show us the system and we tell you honestly whether to migrate, upgrade or just patch.
Migration Blueprint
Code and database review, a map of every page and URL, the risks, the new architecture and a fixed quote for your project.
Website or WordPress to Next.js
Content sites, blogs and marketing sites moved to Next.js with your content, design refresh optional, SEO and forms kept.
PHP app to Next.js + FastAPI
Laravel, CodeIgniter, Yii, Symfony or custom PHP business apps: front end, API, users, roles, data and integrations.
Step by step with a dedicated team
For large systems: we replace one module at a time while the old system keeps running, at your pace.
How much does it cost to migrate a PHP application to Next.js?
It depends on the system: the number of pages and screens, user roles, integrations and how much data has to move. After a free review and a Migration Blueprint of your code, database and URLs, you get one fixed quote and timeline before any work starts.
Will we lose our Google rankings?
Not if the move is planned. We map every old URL to its new page with permanent 301 redirects, keep titles, descriptions and structured data, and check Search Console after the switch. Our own blog kept its URLs this way when we moved it off WordPress.
Why Next.js and FastAPI instead of upgrading PHP?
Upgrading PHP is often the right short-term step, and we do that too. A migration makes sense when the code is hard to maintain, pages are slow, or you want AI features: Next.js gives fast pages, FastAPI gives a clean typed API with automatic documentation, and Python is where most AI tools live.
How long does a migration take?
A content site typically takes 2 to 4 weeks. A business application usually takes 6 to 16 weeks depending on the number of screens, roles, integrations and data. Large systems can be moved module by module while the old one keeps running.
Do we have downtime during the switch?
No planned downtime. The new system is built and tested next to the old one, data is rehearsed on copies, and the final switch happens at a quiet hour with the old system ready as a fallback.
Can you migrate WordPress to Next.js?
Yes. We move posts, pages, media and SEO settings to Next.js, either as static content or with WordPress kept as a headless CMS behind the scenes, and redirect every old URL.
