Can legacy code be converted automatically?
Automatic conversion rarely preserves business rules correctly. A safer approach recovers the rules from the code, writes tests for them, rebuilds one workflow at a time and runs old and new side by side until the results match.
Will we have downtime?
Each cutover is planned with backups, data reconciliation and a rollback path, and old and new systems run side by side first. No migration can promise zero risk, so we agree acceptance tests with you before each switch.
What happens to our data?
We profile it first, map every table to the new schema, migrate it in rehearsals, and reconcile counts and totals before go-live. Your current system keeps running until each workflow is signed off.
Who owns the new code?
You do. Code, documentation and data stay yours, whether or not you continue with us after a pilot.
What technology do you build with?
We choose after discovery. Web interfaces are often built with Next.js, and APIs and integrations with Python and FastAPI on PostgreSQL. The right choice depends on your team, hosting and workflows.
Is Visual FoxPro still supported?
No. Visual FoxPro 9.0 was the final release, and Microsoft’s extended support ended in January 2015. Many VFP applications still run every day, so the end of support alone doesn’t mean yours must be replaced.
Is ColdFusion 2021 still supported?
ColdFusion 2021 reached the end of core support on November 10, 2025, and its extended support ends on November 10, 2026. Adobe describes extended support as best-effort migration help without security patches, and points customers to ColdFusion 2025.
Is the readiness report a technical audit?
No. It’s based only on your answers. Discovery reviews the code, data and workflows to confirm or correct it.
Do you work with software agencies?
Yes. Agencies can bring us in as a white-label delivery partner for their clients’ legacy systems.
